WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of

's Justices of the Peace
for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Edmond the King
London, That Lane the Widow of
John Stabier< no role >
hath
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and is likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Jane as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Jane
to be in the said Parish of saint George Southwark
in the County of Surry
and that hitherto she ought by Law to be sent.

quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Edmond the King
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said
Jane
from and out of your Parish, unto the said Parish of
saint George Southwark
in the County of Surry
And her deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for her according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 23 Day of August One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty one
