The Information of Benjamin Dudley< no role > of Felt
Street London< no role > Carpenter who being on Oath saith
that he sometime since took possesion of the House
in which he now lives, and having employed some
person to repair it, in the past where Bricklayer
Business was necessary to be done to it, whilst he
did the Business within as a Carpenter , he had left
his Working Tools, in the dining Room, which had
step no Windows put into it, and after he went to bed
his wife told him she thought she heard some person in the House and
get on which he [..] up in his Shirt opened the street Door and
sawthe [..] ward the Prisoner now undera thereon whom he hundred not know, not now does
Examinationloitering about, and thinking that he
apprased in a suspicions light, and asked him what
he was about, the Person replied, doing no harm
and then went round into Monk well street this Informant
then shut his Door, and stall suspecting, he in about
two Minister afterwards opened his Door again and
then saw Arthur Ward< no role > the Prisoner now under
Examination upon a Seaffold before his House, &
from thence stop upon he a Ladder which was
standing as the West End of the Seaffolding , and the
said Ward had the Hand saw now produced in his
Hand, says that the said saw is his this Informant
property, is of the Value of three shillings and
upwards, was left by this Informant in the dining
Room, and, he has no doubt, taken from thence by
the said Prisoner
