The Humble Petition and
Appeal of the Churchwardens
and Overseers of the Poor of
the Parish of saint Bennet at
paul's Wharf

Sheweth
That by Virtue of an Order or Pass Warrant
under the Hands and Seals of two of
his Majesty< no role >

Justices of the peace
for the said City of London
bearing Date the twenty second Day of August
last past, one of which said Justices being of the
Quorum,
Sarah< no role >
the Wife
of
John Terris< no role >
and their
Three Children, namely,
John Kent< no role >
aged eight Years
and upwards, Thomas aged eight Years and upwards
and
Mary< no role >
aged Four Years and upwards, were
removed from the Parish of Saint Sepulchre, in the
said City, to the said Parish of saint Bennet at
Pauls Wharf, as the place of their last legal
Settlement wehreby your Petitioners conceive
themselves to be aggrieved, and therefore
Pray that this Honourable
court will please to take their
Case into Consideration, and to
hear and determine their said
Appeal, and to make such
Order therein as shall be
just
And your Petitioners shall ever pray etc
