WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two

's Justices of the Peace
for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Christ Church
, Newgate Street
London, That Ann Browning< no role >
, Singlewoman
,
aged about nineteen Years, did
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and is likely tobecome charge-
able thereto,unless timely prevented,which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of William Browning< no role >
as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Ann Browning< no role >
to be in the said Parish of Saint George in Southwark
within the said County of Surry
and that thither to she ought by Law to be sent.
These are therefore in His Majesty< no role >
's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Christ Church
, Newgate Street
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Ann
Browning
from and out of your said Parish, unto the said Parish of Saint
George in Southwark
within the County of Surry aforesaid
And her deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our Order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for her according to Law. Given under our Hands
