Poor of the Parish of Saint Bennett
at Pauls Wharf London, and the
Church Wardens and Overseers of the
Poor of the Parish of Saint Mary at
White chapel in the County of Middlex
and to every of them.

WHEREAS Complaint hath been made unto Us, two
of His Majesty< no role > 's Justices of the Peace for the City of
London and Liberties thereof, one being of the Quorum, by
the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of the said
Parish of Saint Bennett at Paul Wharf
London, That Herton Joe< no role > a singlewoman and
her illegitimate Son named John< no role > aged five
Month hath
lately come to reside in their said Parish, not having obtain'd
any legal Settlement there, and are likely to become charge-
able thereto, unless timely prevented, which Complaint We
the said Justices, upon due Proof made thereof, as well upon
the Oath of the said Hester as otherwise, do
adjudge to be true; and we do also adjudge the last legal
Settlement of the said Haster and her said
child
to be in the said Parish of saint Mary at White chapel
in the County of Middlesex
and that hitherto they ought by Law to be sent.

These are therefore in His Majesty< no role > 's Name to will and re-
quire you the Church-Wardens and Overseers of the Poor of
the said Parish of Saint Bennett at Pauls Wharf
London, forthwith to remove and convey the said Hester and< no role >
her said Child
from and out of your Parish, unto the said Parish of
saint Mary at White chapel in the said County
od Middlesex
And her deliver unto the Church-Wardens and Overseers
of the Poor there, or to some or one of them, together with this
our order, who is and are hereby required to receive and pro-
vide for them according to Law. Given under our Hands
and Seals, this 6th Day of Novr One Thousand
Seven Hundred and Eighty one
