Wherlings of Smithfield London Ann holder who being
severally on Oath say as follows and first this
Informant
William Brown< no role >
for himself saith that
being in the Yard of the Bell Inn in Smithfield
aforesaid he saw
James underwood< no role >
the Prisoner
now under Examination, and hearing a Duch cry
as if under his Coat he followed the said underwood
to the outer Door of the Yard, which he the said
Underwood perceivings he put the said Duck
down upon the step of a Door near the said Inn
and on his this Informants asking him what he
was going to Do with the Duck, he held up his Stick
at him, and he believe would have struck him
had not another person come up and seemed him
says that the Duck now produced is the same that
he the said Underwood had concealed under his coat
and afterwards put down as aforesaid, and this
Informant

for himself saith that
the said Duck is the property of his said Master

and of the Value of one shilling
and upwards
