Examination TextHannah Goodwin aged 44 years (who with her three children were removed from the Parish of St. James Westminster) saith she is the wife of Thomas Goodwin (who absconded for debt near a year ago and knows not where he now is), that she was married to him at St Brides Church 22 years ago, that he was a Shoemaker and kept house in Russell Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upwards of half a year and paid at the rate of 30 pounds per ann. for the ann. paid any parish taxes since, that she hath three children by her said husband to wit Mary Ann aged six years and three quarters, Thomas Maynard aged three years and Susannah aged one year and three quarters. Sworn the sixth Day of October 1739 before Val Hilder.
