Examination TextJane Bullman aged 25 years lodging last at a house in Mercer Street let out in tenements and before that at Mr Potters in the Haymarket saith that she never was married nor bound an apprentice that she was a yearly hired servant to one Mrs Smith who kept a Farryer's Shop near Mercer Street in Long Acre in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields whom she there served the space of one year and seven months, and then her mistress died and that she had 3 pounds 10 shillings by the year wages diet and lodging, that she came from that service about a year ago and never kept any house rented 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes or lived a year in any service since. Sworn the 12th Day of September 1739 before Val Hilder.
