Examination Text | Mary Tate aged about 27 years saith she lodged last night at Mr Morris's in Moors Yard where she lodged three weeks, which lodging she left nine days ago and hath lain in the streets ever since, that she never was married bound apprentice kept any house rented 10 pounds per ann. or paid any parish taxes, that she was a yearly hired servant to Mr Staples at the Fountain in Round Court in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields whom she there served 16 months and had 3 pounds per ann. wages diet and lodging which service she quitted two years ago and hath not been a year in any service since. Sworn the eighth day of January 1741 before Val Hilder. |
