Examination Text | Ann Halstead aged 34 years (removed from St. James Westminster and now in the workhouse) saith she never was married kept any house rented 10 pounds per ann. or paid any parish taxes, that she was bound apprentice by indenture for five years to one Mrs Skuce a Child's Coat Maker who lodged at a Stone Cutter's the middle of Long Acre near James Street in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields whom she there served one year and then run away, and never was turned over to any person by the consent of her said mistress or a year in any service as a yearly hired servant.
