Alienacon fines


Whereas there happened to this house as Alienacon Fine on Mr. Biggs his
Assignment to one Michaell Shaller, And another upon his Alienacon to Marke Jarvis< no role > ,
and now a third on Thomas Jarvis< no role > his sons alientaing the same to william Child< no role > wch
being large Sums amounting in all to on & thirtie pounds six Shillings six pence
and happening in a few years, And Michll Shaller< no role > who under tooke the payment
of two of them is fallen to decaye Ordered that upon payment of Fifteene pounds
thirteene shillings three pencebeing one halfe of the Three Fines, the other
halfe be and is hereby remitted and acquitted

Widdow Leeds Grand children to surrender her Lease of Two Tenements in
St. Thomas Pish , and the business of Richard Smart< no role > about renewing his Lease
of Tenements in that Pish, are every of them referred to the Comittee with
power fully to Settle them and every of them as they in their disc [..] tions
Shall think fitt and the same shall bee approved and consented to
by this Court.

Upon the Peticon of Mr: Oakes the Steward and in consideracon
of his diligence and faithfullness in that office. The Court Ordered him
a gratuity of Tenn pounds, And upon a motion they alsoe Ordered a like
gratuity of Tenn pounds to Mr. Sowton the minister of St: Thomas Pish
with this That the same shall not be drawne into President for time
to came; And to prevent too frequent applicacons in this kind The
Court doth further Order that no officer any other that receives salary
of this house shall henceforth peticon for any gratuityes but leave the
Court to take notice of and reward them as they shall observe them to
merritt without such applicacons from themselves

Greene

Mr. Silvester, Mrs: Timm, Mrs: Robotham, Mrs: Garland Mrs: Hester Palmer< no role >
and Mrs: Bathoe were severall Suiters for the same, and being all put in
nominacon the most of Voyces was for the said Hester Palmer< no role > ; To
whom therefore the Court granted the said Place of Matron with the
perquisits and Lodgings thereunto belonging To hold dureing her good
behaviour and the pleasure of the Majority of the Govnrs: of this house.

Peticonrs: for the same place And they being all putt in Election the Majority
of Votes being for the said Mr: Hughes The Court thereupon granted
the same place to him To be holden and enjoyed by him with the Salarie of
Sixty pounds P Annu and other perquisitts thereto belonging during his good
behaviour and the pleasure of the Majority of the Governors of this house.
