And after the reading and confirmacon of the orders
and business of the last Court It was ordered as followeth

The Lease of the Scite and demesnes of the Mannor of Alvethley in the
County of Essex late held by the Lady Watkins expireing at Michaelmas next, At this
Court Severall Persons were Suitors for a new Lease and did offer a Fine for the same
but Mr: Richard Taylor< no role > an under Tennant of part of the Lanes) offering most
It is granted that a lease thereof be made to him for one and twenty yeares
from Michas next aforesaid at the old Rent of one hundred pounds P Annu
and for a Fine of Eleaven hundred pounds; (Vizt) Foure hundred pounds at or before
Michas next when the Lease is to be Sealed and the residue at three Six moneths from
thenceforth by equall payments and under such Covenants as containe in the
former Lease.

Whereas Ann Hill< no role > did lately hold by Lease which expired at Christmas
last a Shop before the Hospitall in the high Streete at the yearly Rent of
thirteene Shillings foure pence, and a tenemt. in St. Thomas Parish at the
yearly Rent of thirty three shillings foure pence and three shillings foure
pence for tyth, It is Ordered according to the report of the Comittee
That shee shall enjoye the said shopp as from Christmas last at the yearly
Rent of Three pounds dureing the pleasure of the Court; And that in
consideracon of the Fine of Five pounds to be paid in hand, shee shall have
a lease of the said Tenement for one and twenty years from Chras last
aforesaid at the yearly Rent of Thirty three shillings foure pence and
three Shillings foure pence for Tyth.

Alsoe It is ordered according to the report of the said Committee
That in consideracon of the Fine of Tenn pounds to be paid by Richard
Smart
< no role > our Tennant of a Tenement in St. Thomas Parrish by Lease
expireing at Lady day 1682: Hee shall have a new Lease thereof for one
and twenty yeares from Lady day aforesaid at and under the old yearly Rent
of Fower pounds and tenn Shillings.

the Sister of Dorcas Ward wch: Place of Sister is now Voyd by the former Sister
being chosen Matron, is permitted to pforme that place of Sister and
receive the benefitt thereof till the next Court

the late Steward being deceased and the house and allowance for Coales
belonging to that officer being enjoyed by the new Steward ever since he [..]
coming to the place The Court declardd their approbacon that the said
Butler has ever since her husbands death enjoyed the house and received the
allowance for coales belonging to the place of Butler and doth order that
shee enjoye the same for the future dureing her continuance in that place
any former Order to the contrary notwithstanding
