Mr: Barringer
Mr: Treasurer has seen both yor: last Letters &
consents to yor. Method of securing the Arrears of Rent due from the
Ellisley Tenants, since there is no easier way. But as the London
Workhouse has an equal Right in that Estate Mr Treasurer
has directed yor. Letters to be laid before the Govrs: of that house
& I am promised their Answer in a fortnits time which I will
take care to send you.

Mr: Swaine
You sent me word by yors: of the 29th: of June last
that you had order'd Mr. Robt: Nyce of Canterbury to pay her £39.
in a weeks time, but having waited for him near 3 weeks, I thought
it was time to let you know that the Money is not paid yet; of wch:
you will take Notice & direct the paymt: of it forthwith.
