I reced yors: of the 4th: inst: & laid it before Mr: Treasurer
who has order'd me to acquaint you That as you are the Hospital Tenant
so He shall expect the Rent from you. Sometime ago you sent me
a Proposal for a building Lease for those Houses & Ground of yors: in
Kent Street, if you have any thing further to add upon that Affair, you
will let me know by yor: next Letter, which I desire may be very soon

Mr: Barringer
I have this day reced an Answer from the Governors
of the London Workhouse That they desire, as does Mr. Treasurer of our
Hospital, that you will take effectual Methods to secure the Rents
due from the Ellisley Tenants; and as soon as you can, to get a better
Tenant or Tenants for the Estate.

That unless you pay forthwith your Arrears being 12..10.. due at Michas
last for the House in the Old Baily a Distress will be made on the Goods
