Mr: Swaine having sent Notice that he intends to
fell the lower part of Culvenhill Wood between this & Chrmas
next; Mr: Treasurer desires you will take care of the growing
Timber & mark all such Storers Saplings Etc as are proper to be
left standing
at Chilk [..] near Canterbury

I recd: yors: with a Bill inclosed for £70..- which is accepted
& when paid will be placed to the Account of the Tibshalfe Tenants. Ask
that part of yor: Letter relating to the 2 or 3 Acres of Coals in Mrs: Hand [..]
Farme, I will take the first opportunity of acquainting Mr: Treasurer wth
& let you know his orders about it.

According to my Engagement of the 27th: inst: I have laid yor.
Letter before Mr Treasurer, who has ordered me to write you, that
as he can't himself Judge very well of that Affair of letting the Coals
in Mrs: Hand's Farme at this distance, he therefore leaves it to you
to act as you thing will be most beneficial for the Hosptl: & Tants:
but desires to know for what time they would take it, & would he glad
if you could get the Tents: supplyed wch: Coals upon easy Terms
