take Orders pray do the people in your neigh
-bourhood grow mustard seed for wee use here
a good deal & tis not easy to meet with that
which is choice good and unmixt, about a
Twelve month ago I saw sometimes in your
Country which we call Service Trees, pray
lett me know what name they go by with
you, they are about the Size of an Apple Tree
& bear a fruit in berrys of a brown colour
& pleasant Sharp last.

propose to take a Lease of the Cole delf at £40 P Ann sd
or a Fine & less rent to make a Sough thro' the
hospital land, to Cleanse the Old Sough to use any
reasonable arts in Sinking pits burning the wast
Coals into Coaks, Stacking the Coals to have
liberty to Erect Engines & buildings to be Taken
away at pleasure and all other reasonable liberties
proper for the managing a Cole Delf a allowing damages
as usual

A Liberty to get Stone for buildings Soughs rep-
airing roads or For any other necessary use for the
benefit of the Work They say a New Sough
cannot be brought up without a liberty through
other peoples lands

The Grand Committee have directed me to acquaint
you with these proposal and would know your Sentiments
of them and I believe you will do well to talk with
the Gent. thereupon I suppose you know Mr.
Fletcher lives at Smalley & Mr. Barber at Grisley

You are desired to inform me who are the Owners of
the lands through which the Sough must be brought up
pray let me hear as soon as conveniently may be yours Etc
