Messrs. Fletcher & Barber
Gentlemen
The Sever Weather in the last Winter long preven-
ted the enquiry the Governors of the Hospital though incumbent
on them to make concerning the circumstances of their
Cole Works at Tibshelfe. and consequently occasioned so
long delay in your receiving their resolution touching the
proposals you made to them; but as they have at length
got those Works viewd and obtained a much fuller inform-
ation than they ever before had; I have Orders to acquainted
you that tho. they are advised that £70. P Ann is but a
reasonable rent for a Lease of 41 years, yet as you are
Gent of a very good Character, they will insist only on
£60 P Ann rent and £50 Fine for that term to Commence
from Lady day last and and the Lease to be made
Virte.
