Sr.
In January last I wrote you a State of the
Particular Accots. of all The Tennts. Tibshelfe whose
rents you receive wherein I think all the Sums
mention'd in a Letter from you in Augt. 1727 are
brought to the Hospl. Accot. Except the Bill of
£52. 10. Sent to Mr Wright in June 1725.
The Hospl Accot. for the Year ending at Lady day
last has been lately audited wherein I believe
there is no Error And thereby appears to be due from
the Several Tennts. to the Hospl.to the Hosplthis Midsr.
day £193.19.3¼ according to our Rental as you'l see
by the Particulars underneath Nor has there been
any more mony brought to Accot. for Fines than £1500
the sum agreed for by the Land Tennts.
I have acquainted Mr. Wolfrey in Nicholas Lane
(who is Agent for Mr. Wrights Extor) that that £52.10.-
had not been brought into the Hospl Cash by Mr Wright
And Show'd him your Letter containing Coppyes of two
Letters from Mr. Wright acknowledging the Receipt of
Such a Bill and the said he would enquire of Mr. Chitty abt. it
but has not yet done so.
The Treasurer cannot properly Accot. wth. [..]
Mr Wright's Extor till your Accot. is even'd And
therefore desires it may be Speedily done And in order
to it that you will be pressing wth. Mr. Wolfrye to make
a Speedy enquiry with Mr. Chitty abt. it.
In your last Letter you seem'd to think it difficulty to
Settle by Letter & therefore thought of being in Town
This Sumer I am
Yor humble Sr.
