Overseers of the Poor
of the Parish of Saint Faith

Saint Paul in the City of London

Sheweth
That by Virtue of a Pass Warrant or Order of Removal under the
hands and Seals of Sir
Watkin Lewes< no role >
Knight Mayor of the said City of London
and Sir
James Esdaile< no role >
Knight one of the Aldermen of the said City two of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace in and for the said City and Liberties thereof (one
whereof being of the Quorum) Dated the Sixth day of March last past Mary
Brown a Singlewoman
and her two illegitemate Children namely

aged five Years and
William< no role >
Aged one Year for Nurture were removed from
the Parish of Saint Dunstan in the West
in the City of London
to the Parish of
Saint Faith under Saint Paul in the said City as the place of the last legal
Settlement of the said
Mary Brown< no role >
by which your Petitioners conceive
themselves Aggrieved.
Your Petitioners therefore humbly Appeal against the said Pass
Warrant or Order of Removal and Pray such relief in the
Premises as to this Honorable Court shall seem meet
And your Petitioners shall ever pray Etc
