The Information of James Ross< no role > , of No 118 Great
Saffron Hill Carpenter , Joseph Boubear of the same
place Carpenter , Francis Day< no role > of No 7 Milford
Place Watchman, and Henry Crocker< no role > of Tottenham
Court Road Broker taken on Oathbeingbefore me
this 14th. day of July 1789.

Who being on Oath Severally say, and first the said
James Ross< no role > for himself says that he is employed as a Master Carpenter
to Compleat the Parlour floors of a new House Situate at Kentish Town
opposite the Assembly house, that at different times he hath worked
there, that he worked at said house on Saturday lastandat which
time he left there a quantity of tools which he had that day used.
And this Informant further saith that the two hammers, one pair
of Prichers, Pannel Saw, Carcase Saw & Case, Dividers lead Glue Pot and three
Chissels now produced are his property and are the same tools he so left in said
new house on Saturday last And the Said Joseph Boubear for himself
Says that he is employed by the said James Ross< no role > , as a Journeyman
Carpenter to work at said new house, that he worked at said house
Yesterday and in the Evening when he left off work he locked all
his own tools as well as his Masters, (that were in said house) in
the Kitchen thereof And this Informant further saith that as he was
giving to his Work this Morning to said house he was informed that
his tools had been stolen, that when he went tohissaid house
he discovered that some person or Person had broke into the Same
by Wrenching open the Kitchen Windowandthat all the tools were
taken away. And that the Plough plain Filister plain, two hammers
Lead glue pot Tenant Saw, hand Saw, Compas Saw, four Chissels, Stock
Gouge, Turkey Stone, two plough Irons, pair of Compasses Serew driver
two bits and Punch now produced by the said Henry Crocker< no role > are
this Informants property and were Feloniously Stolen and taken away
from said New house And the said Francis Day< no role > for himself says that
being on his duty as a Watchman in Tottenham Court new road this
