One Ounce, that said Lead consisted of One Large Piece
and three smaller piecesafter the Lead had been so weighed
Informant agreed to Give Two Gunieas and an half for the same
but did not that day either pay for said Lead a take the same
awayThe day following Informant in Company with the
Person whose Opinion he had taken upon the Lead, went again
to said Ann Massleys Appartment, when she refused to
part with the Lead unless Informant [..] paid Two pounds Sixteen
Shillings and Six pence for the same instead of Two Guineas and
half, Which was accordingly done, and Informant and his
Friend brought away the LeadThat some Time in the
Month of May last Informant being in Denzill Street was again
call'd to the Appartment of the said Ann Mapley< no role > , who asked
him to buy more Blead Lead producing to him at the same
Time three pieces, which were immediately weighed at a
Batter shop at the Corner of Denzil Street and Vere Street
and was found to weigh Two pounds and an half, for which she
demanded after the rate of Fifteen Shillings & pound; [..]

not Musing to give so much, until he had consulted with the,
person whose Opinion he had before taken, left said Ann
Massley
< no role > , and returned next Day to her with said person
who offered her Seven Shillings a pound for said Lead, [..] which
was rejected; and Informant and his friend quitted the
Appartment without Dealingthat about a Month
afterwards Informanthewas again at the Appartments of the said
Ann Massley< no role > who then told Informant that he should
have the Lead at Seven Shillings a pound, which, afteragain
consultingagainwith his Friend he purchased for Seventeen
Shillings, and his said Friend paid him a Guinea for said Lead

That on a about Friday the 11th. day of July last
said Ann Massley< no role > again called Informant into her appartments
and produced to him Two Lumps of Black Lead which he carried
to the Shop of Mrs. Pyke in Dezill Street and found the
