that soon afterwards hearing a Knock at the Street Door, she ran
up stairs and upon comming to the Top she saw One of thesaid
Men to who came about the Lodgings, come hastily out of the Front
Parlour and appeared to this Informant to be much alarmed or
Frightened, that her Mistress and the other Man were the comming
down stairs, and the Men after promising to call on her Mistress again the
Next Day went awayAnd this Informant says that from the
Hasty manner in which one of the said Men came out of the
Front Parlour upon her comming up stairs she suspected those
Men to be theives mentioned her suspicions to her Mistress and
immediately opened the Case on the Side Board in the front parlour
and found the spoon, were gone and she perfectly recollects seeing
Five Silver Spoons in the said Case at half past three o'Clock
the same afternoon, and is very sure that from the Time she saw
said spoons to the Time said Men came to Enquire for Lodgings
no person or persons whatsoever had been let in to her Mistresses
HouseAnd this Informant further says that a person now
present who calls himself John Beale< no role > is on of the Two Men
who came to Enquire pr Lodgings as aforesaid and is the person
who remained [..] down stairs and came hastily from the front
Parlour upon her comming up stairs
