Morning between the hours of three and four oClock he saw the two
Persons now present who calls themselves Samuel Houghton< no role > , and
Richard Wilson< no role > in Tottenham Court Road near the Turnpike that said
Samuel Houghton< no role > [..] had the bag and tools therein now produced on
his Shoulders that said Richard Wilson< no role > had the basket and tools therein
also now [..] produced on his Shoulder that Informant Stopp'd
them [..] and asked said persons what they had got
who Replied that they were Carpenters,andhad got their tools and
was going to their Master in Kings gate Street Holborn, that Informant
not beleiving their Story, took them to the Constable into whose charge
he delivered them as also the bag and basket with their Contents
And the said Henry Crocker< no role > for himself says that he received
Charge of the said Samuel Houghton< no role > and Richard Wilson< no role > that the asked
the said Houghton if he had found the tools who replied No "that they
they were his own property but could not tell the marks, that he
Searched both said persons and found on the said Houghton the pair
of Dividers, Screw driver and pair of Compasses now produced
and on the said Wilson the two bits, and Punch also now produced
And that the bag and basket with the tools therein now produced
by him are the same which he Received from the said Francis
