The Information of
John Buckup< no role >
taken before me the
13th. day of September 1781.
Who being upon Oath says that on Friday Evening last he
went in Company with two Women now present who call themselves
Elizabeth Anderson< no role >
and Ann Smith< no role >
to a House in the Liberty of St.
Martin le Grand
, that he staid with them there a short time in a
Room up two pair of Stairs, that whilst he was in the said Room he
pulled out his Watch & laid it on a Chair, that soon afterwards
the said two Women and this Informant went away from the said
House and when they were in the Street the said two Women ran
away, that this Informant recollecting he had not taken up his
Watch again went back to the said House and found that his
said Watch was stolen, and this Informant does verily believe
that the said Elizabeth Anderson< no role >
and Sarah Smith< no role >
stole his said
Silver Watch
