the Spot about three Quarters of an Hour and about
half an Hour after eight o'Clock this Informant saw
the said Joseph Freeman< no role > come up to the Ditch and
take out of Bag and intended to carry it away but
this Informant ran up to the said Joseph Freeman< no role >
and seized hold of him where upon he let fall the Bag
and begged of this Informant not to take him to Mr.
Cranch. That on taking him to Mr. Cranch's House
and being questioned respecting the Affair the said
Joseph Freeman< no role > confessed that he had stolen the other
Lead, that one Samuel Wilson< no role > was concerned with him
in taking it and that they had sold it to a person
in Whitechapel Road .
