the said Officers for one Year on Account of their
indigent Circumstances.

Then Mr. Edward Green< no role > was put up to serve
the Offices of Constable and Inquest Man for the
Year ensuing and Chose. But It was Ordered
that Mr. Green be excused from serving the said
Offices, upon paying the Fine of Fourteen Pounds,
on the Motion of Mr. James.

Israel Manduitt< no role > Esqr . was next in Nomination
and a Question was made Whether Mr. Manduitt
was Eligible or not, on account of Non Residence
in the Precincts of this Parish, And it was
explain'd to the Gentlemen present, that Mr.
Manduitt carried on his Business in Lime Street
in the North Precinct of this Parish and was
Rated to Church and Poor there, but resided in
Clements Lane Precinct in this Ward. But the
Majority were of opinion that Mr. Manduitt
ought to be returnd to the Wardmote for Constable
and Inquest Man of these Precincts, He was
thereupon put up and Chose Constable and
Inquest Man for the year ensuing.

Mr. Geo: Maynard< no role > then Moved that Israel
Manduitt Esqr. be excused from Serving the
Offices of Constable and Inquest Man, paying
the usual Fine of Fourteen Pounds, and being
Seconded, It was Carried in the Affirmative
and Order accordingly.

Mr. Stephen Line< no role > was next in Nomination
but excused from serving the said Offices for one
year on Account of poverty and ill state of health.

Then Mr. John Hawkins< no role > and Mr. Joseph
Fossey
< no role > were severally put up and Chose
