The several Informations of Philip Welch< no role > and
John Jones< no role > Taken the 28th. day of April 1784
before me David Walker< no role > Esquire one of his
Majestys Justices of the peace in and for the
said County

And first the said Philip Welch< no role > for himself
Saith That he is a Watchman That between the
hours of 4 and 5. oClock this Morning being upon his duty
in Holborn he Stopt a person who had in his possessive
Two Coach Glases and Suspecting the same to have been
Stolen he Took him into Custody

And this Informant John Jones< no role > for himself
Saith That he is Coach to Dr. Tarrant Dean of
Peterborough That he put his Coach up at the Coach house
Red Lyon Yard Eagle Street about 12. oClock last Night
and afterwards he made the Coach house door fast with
a Strong Nail, there not being any Lock or Latch to the
door, That he went to the Coach house about 6. o Clock
this Morning he found the door open and Two Glasses
had been taken out of the Coach That they are the
property of Dr. Tarrant Dean of Peterborough and are of
the Value of Forty Shillings and that the Two Glasses
now produced are the Same Identical Glasses that were
Stolen from the said Coach house
