Who being on their Oaths say and First the said Mary Lewis< no role > for herself
Saith That Yesterday about the Hour of Twelve at Noon as She was
Passing along a certain foot path in a Field leading from Bow to
Old Ford she was Stopped by the person now present who Says
his Name is Name is Samuel Benear That hewhoAssaulted her put
her in fear and Demanded her Money and said of she did not
give him her Money he would not her throat, saith That she
cryed out Murder that he then ran away and was pursued
by John William< no role > [..] James Dozey Person who came to her Assistance
And the Said James Dorey< no role > for himself saith that he pursued
the Person that the said Mary Lewis< no role > Pointed outDescribed to him
to near unto the Plough on Mill End Road where hewas
Stopped his theApprehended him and With the Assistance
of to he William Wray< no role > took him back to Old Ford that he
was there put amongst Several other people and
was therefixed upon by the aforesaid Mary Lewis< no role > to
be the Person who had attempted to Rob her
