Examination Text | James Cakewick aged 19 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed as a vagrant from the Parish of St Ethelburga London upon his oath saith that he served two years and upwards of his apprenticeship with Henry Mills, a Cordwainer in Hedge Lane in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields, and hath not since obtained any other subsequent settlement. Taken in the workhouse the fourth Day of December 1761. |
