Examination TextSarah Baker aged 35 years in the workhouse of and in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields passed as a vagrant from the Parish of St. Mary in Aldermanbury, London, upon her oath saith that she is the wife of Francis Baker (gone from her) to whom she was married at St Giles's Church without Cripplegate 16 years ago, that he lived in and rented an house known by the name of Long Acre Coffee House in Long Acre in the said Parish of St Martin in the Fields for the space of one year and upwards at the yearly rent of 28 pounds besides taxes, that he never kept house rented 10 pounds by the year nor paid any parish taxes since he quitted the said house in Long Acre. Taken in the workhouse the fourth Day of December 1761.
