Examination TextEdward Lilliard aged about 56 years lodging at Evans's in that part of White Hart Yard which is in the Parish of St Martin in the Fields upon his oath saith that he served seven years apprenticeship at the Pine Apple in Castle Street by the Mews in the said Parish, that he never kept house rented a tenement of 10 pounds by the year paid any parish taxes nor hath been a yearly hired servant in any one place for 12 months together since the expiration of his said apprenticeship, that he was married to his present wife Ann at the Savoy Church eight years ago. Sworn the 28th Day of July 1761 before Benjamin Cox.
