| Examination Text | Eleanor Lamb aged 23 Years upon her Oath saith that she was never Married nor bound Apprentice , that she has served from the fifth Day of August 1791 under a yearly hiring with Mr John Norman Taylor No 14 in Martlet Court in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields at ffive Guineas by the Year Wages Diet & lodging and still continues in the said Service. And this Examinant upon her voluntary Oath further saith that she is no great with Child or Children which is or are likely to be Born a Bastard or Bastards and to become chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Martin in the Fields and that John Marshall crusade Taylor & Lodges in Crown Court had severalTimes carnal Knowledge of the Body and at the one of which Times did beget her with the Child or are Children she now goeth with & is Pregnant of and that he the said John Marshall is the true & only ffather thereof & nor Man else.
