Examination TextAmelia Williams aged 50 Years (now in the Workhouse) upon her Oath saith that she is the Widow of Richard Williams , who Died about 26 Years ago to whom she was Married at the Parish Church of Saint Andrew Holborn the 26th Day of July about 30 Years ago , that she this Examinant since that Deceaseof her said Husband having child or Children living was a Yearly hired Servant with Mr George Goodwin a Woollen Draper in Coventry Street in the Parish of Same Martin in the ffields for the space of One Year and Nine Months all under one hiring at the Yearly wages of Ten Pounds diet & lodging quitted the same in the Year 1783 since which she hath not been a yearly hired servant in any one place for Twelve Months together not done any Act to gain a subsequent Settlement. Sworn this 26th Day of March 1793before me John collick Amelia Williams her Mark
