Examination TextElizabeth Foot aged 33 Years removed from Saint Pancras upon her Oath saith that she is the Widow oath Henry Foot who died the 11th Day of November 1792 [1791?] whom she was Married at the Parish Churchof Saint James Westminster or the 27th Day of May 1786 that her said Husband was the Ship Broker & lived in & rented a House in George Street for several Years at the Yearly Rent of £34 beside taxes , & then removed into Duke Street in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields where he lived in & rented a House for the space of Four Years at the Yearly Rent of £50 the said Taxes & died in the occupation of the same & that she this Examinant continued to rent the said House until ffebruary last since which she hath not rented Ten Pounds by the Year not done any Act to acquire a subsequent Settlement , that she have to one Child living by her said late Husband to wit Rebecca Born January 23d/90 And this Examinant upon her voluntary Oath further Saith that she is no great with Child or Children , which is or are likely to be A born a Bastard or Bastards and to become chargeable to the said Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields and that Robert Binns who Lodges at No 6 in Buckingham Street had several Times carnal Knowledge of her Body and that one-off which Times did beget her with the Child or Children , which she now goeth with & is pregnant of & that he the said Robert Binns is the true & only ffather thereof & no Man else.
