| Examination Text | Ann Sherwood aged 23 Years upon her Oath saith that never Married , & that the place of a last legal Settlement is in the Parish of Saint Martin in the ffields And this Examinant upon her voluntary Oath saith that she is now great with Child or Children which is or are likely to be Born a Bastard or Bastards and to become chargeable to the said Parish . oath Saint Martin in the ffields and that James McCoy a Musician at Mr Daly No 4 Lascelles Court St Giles and several Times carnal Knowledge of Body and that one of which Times did beget her with the Child or Children she now goes with and is Pregnant of and that he the said that James McCoy is the true & only ffather thereof & no Man else.
