We have agreed to grant the lease which was at a Committee
of the 6th. May 1796 agreed to be granted to Mr. John Howell< no role >
(who has since become a Bankrupt ) of the two houses in the
Borough High Street then in his occupation to Mr. George Pole< no role > of
Holbourn Linendraper upon the same terms as the same was then
agreed to be granted to said Mr. Howell.

The Treasurer having reported to us his proceedings in respect
to a new arrangement of the Hospital estate at Great Parndon in
the County of Essex which the alterations which have taken place
therein in consequence of the award of the Commissioners under
the Act of Parliament for dividing and inclosing the Commons &
Common field lands in Great Parndon had rendered necessary
and that in the course of such arrangement finding it
necessary to the interest of the Hospital that the several fauns
composing this estate should be rendered more compact he had
applied to Mr. John Rickett< no role > the tenant of the Church farm
(part of this estate) to relinquish a Part of his farm offering
to give him other lands in liece thereof which appeared to
him would be quite as convenient to his farm) if not more so,
than those he wished him to give up and to make him such
abatement in his rent for the diminution in quantity which his
farm might suffer, as might be thought proper taking into
consideration on the part of the Hospital the advanced Rent which
Mr. Rickett should pay in consequence of his having his Common
