that instead of the Lease ordered at a former Committee
to be granted to him of the three houses built by him in
St. Thomas's Street three seperate Leases be granted of those
Houses Vizt. Two to Mr. John Hanscomb< no role > of Clapham in
Surry Builder of the two Westermost houses at the Yearly
Rents of £10 and £3 and the third to Mr. Richard
Fothergill
< no role > of the same place Carpenter at the Yearly Rent
of £8 making together the annual Rent of £21 which
Mr. Poynder was to pay for the Ground whereon those
Houses have been built Mr. Hanscomb and Mr. Fothergill
agreeing to pay the Sum of £7. which would be the amount
of the Alienation Fines in the Case of an Assignment But
Mr. Poynder having on the erection of such three houses
made two Windows on the West side of the Westermost house
without the Authority of the Committee and contrary to
the intent of their Agreement with him the Committee
required a Compensation for the Previlege of such
Windows and for an Area to secure the enjoyment
thereof and agreed to accept of £20 for the same and to
grant such Privilege for the Term of the Lease which
Area is to be of the width of 7 feet 6 inches from the West
side of the said Westermost house and of the depth of
about 17 feet from the wall of the Hospital

We have ordered that such Measurer as the
Treasurer shall think proper be taken by Mr. Chambers
the Hospital Agent for the Derbyshire Estate for the
Purpose of Punishing such of the Tenants as have been
Guilty of breaches of Covenant in improperly Ploughing &
otherwise mismanaging their Lands

We have agreed to accept of Mr. Dutton the tenant
of five houses in St. Thomas's Street under a Lease
granted to Mr. Tommer which expired at Michaelmas
last the Sum of £20 as a satisfaction for the
defective state of the Repairs.

We have agreed to the Proposal of the Tenant
of the Mill at Pewsey in Willshire for adding one
life to the lives in being in his Lease and exchanging
another on Paying a fare of not less than £84. Also to
an application on behalf of the Parish for Permission to
take down two Cottages for the improvement of the Road
