Subscriptions were recommended
by the Treasurer towards defraying the great expences
of this Hospital.

Death of Mrs. Elizth.

Mr. Treasurer acquainted the Court that
Mrs. Elizabeth Wright< no role > the Matron of this Hospital has
departed this life.

Mrs. Jane Wright< no role >
chosen Matron .


Whereupon the Court Proceeded to the
choice of a Person to succeed her and Mrs. Jane Wright< no role > her
Daughter being the only Candidate was called in and her
Petition praying to be elected to the Office was read and the
Rules relating to the duties of the Office were then pursuant
to an Order of a Genear Court of this Hospital held the
30th. July 1755 read to her and then she was unanimously
chosen into that Officer with the usual Salary.
