this Court have first renewed with the Citty And in order thereunto it is
refferred to the Comittee to endeavour to renew the same accordingly
on the most easye termes that can bee obtained and report the
same to the Court

It is alsoe ordered by this Court according to the report of
the said Committee that inconsideracon of John Carter< no role > our
Tenant of Severall tenements and Gardens in the parish of St.
Thomas held by lease made to Tho: Phillipps< no role > and Expire my at
Midsumer 1682: paying forthwith Fifty Pounds for a Fine and
new building Foure Tenemts: on the ground, of as good Scantlings
and materialls as the Tenement in the said Pish in the tenure of
Thomas Bartholomew< no role > within Three years next ensueing there shalbee
a new lease made to the said John Carter< no role > of the said Tenements
for Forty and one years from Midsomer 1682: aforesaid at and under
the yearly Rent of Three pounds and Six shillings for Tythe

Auditors: to continue for two years Accompts (vizt) for the said Accot:
ending Michas last, and for that to end at Michas next.

Ordered That the Sum of Fifteene Guinies of Gold bee paid to Doctr.
Torlesse; And Fifteene pounds to the Apothecary and Tenn pounds a piece to
each of the Three Chyrurzions as gratuities for their Severall Advices, Medicines
and paines in and about Extra: Patients, or Patients that bee not in the
house, for Severall years past

Whereas a Lease was lately graunted to Thomas Hague< no role > of a Tenemt:
in St: Thomas Pish, in consideracon of new building and a fine of Five
pounds, Now it is this day ordered according to the report of the
Comittee in regard the said Tenement is very well Rebuilt; and the
Same will not yeild a Rent answerable to the cost thereof That the
said Fine of Five Pounds shall bee Remmitted

It is reffered to the Comittee to consider how the shopps next the
Streete before the Hospitall may bee improved to the best
advantage of this house and in order to that whether best to grant
new Leases of them as the prsent ones Expire or only to Lett the in at Will
untill all Leases are expired or bought in

< no role > for the place of one of the Beadles of this house now voyd by
the Death of Thomas Rhodes< no role > ; the Court those the said Nich: Daintry< no role > to
bee Beadle; To whom therefore the Court graunted the same during
his good behaviour and the pleasure of the Majority of the Govrnors
of this house

The Court did alsoe graunt Alice Long< no role > the place of sister of an
Abdiells ward To hold dureing her good demeanor and the pleasure of
the Majority of the Governors: of this house.
