And after the reading and confirmacon of the busines and
Orders of the last Court it was Ordered as followeth

Upon Reading A Letter directed to the President and Governors of this
Hospitall by Order of his most Excellent Maties Comissioners constituted
for visiting the Hospitall of St: Thomas Southwarke In Obedience thereunto;
It is Ordered That the President and Comittee now chosen doe attend their
Lordpps: att the time appointed Humbly to acquaint them that this Hospitall is not
possessed of the Originall Charters the same being graunted to the Maior and
Commalty and Cittizens And that the prsent Governors are by act of Comon Councill
authorized by the Court of Aldermen for manageing the Charity of the said
Hospitall under their Inspection And therefore humbly to crave there Lordspps: Favour
for time to attend the Court of Alderman for dirrccons how the Contents of the
aforesaid Letter may bee speedily offe [..] ; And what further comands their Loddpps:
his Maties Comissioners shall please to give to Report the same to this Court
