Dr . Caleb Cotesworths< no role >
Resignation

The President acquainted the Court that Dr. Caleb Cotesworth< no role > one
of the Physicians of this Hospital had resigned his said Office of
Physician and that this Court was called in Order to the choosing
some fit person to succeed the said Dr. Cotesworth in the said Office of
Physician.

Whereupon this Court was moved that thanks might be given
to the said Dr. Caleb Cotesworth< no role > for his care & diligence in the Service
of this Hospital during the time of his being Physician.

It was therefore unanimously resolved that the thanks of this
Court be given to the said Dr. Caleb Cotesworth< no role > for his long & painfull
Services in the Care of the Poor harboured in this Hospital and
Mr. President gave him thanks accordingly.

chosen.

And then this Court proceeded to the Choice of a Person to
Succeed the said Dr. Cotesworth and the Petitions of Dr . Edward
Willmott< no role > Dr . Pelham Johnston< no role > Dr . Robert Nesbit< no role > & Dr . Abraham
Hall< no role > being presented to this Court & read severally praying to be
admitted one of the Physicians of this Hospital in the room
of the said Dr. Cotesworth The said Dr. Edward Willmott< no role > was
chosen to the said Place to hold the same with the usual Salary
thereunto belonging during the pleasure & good likeing of this
Court.
