to grant them a Lease of a Small piece of Ground containing abt.
an Acre near to and fronting the Bowling green House at Hackney
for building a Workhouse for 99. Years from Christmas 1729. at
40s. P Ann clear of Taxes And they are to have the use of the
present Cast way from the Road to the Bowling Green House
and to have liberty to take down any trees growing on the
premises paying the value of them which Agreements is
to be void if the said Workhouse shall not be begun in 2. Years
from Midsumer 1729. or this General Court shall disagree to
the granting such Lease.

beind dead We have pursuant to a power given to the
Grand Committee by a General Court held the 26th. February
1713. Elected Mr. Samuel Pearce< no role > to be Apothecary to this
Hospital.

We have agreed with Messrs. Joseph Nutt< no role > and Joshua
Russell
< no role > to grant them a Lease of a House in Wapping in Lease
to Margaret Rogers< no role > and late in the tenure of Thomas Astle< no role >
for 21. Years from Michas 1729. at the Yearly rent of £18. tax
free they having procured a Surrender of the present Lease
And we have agreed to pay them £21. toward the repairing
thereof.

We being desireous in taken of the great respect due to
Sr. Gilbert Heathcoate< no role > the worthy President of this Hospital to
have his portrait set up in the Great Hall We have prevailed
for his permission and have Agreed that the same shall be
done forthwith.

We have Agreed with Richard Edwards< no role > to grant him a
Lease of the House he now dwells in over against the late
Conduit in Cheapside for 21. Years from Michaelmas 1729
when the present Lease thereof will expire At the Yearly
rent of £45. tax free in Consideration of his putting the said
premisses into substantial repair and his laying out £150.
at the last in the doing thereof.
