of rent for the said premisses An Ejectment has been brought
against them upon the forfeiture of their Lease And such Ejectmt
being ready for Tryall the said Evan Pugh< no role > did lately Submit
himselfe to us thereupon We appointed and requested the
Governours of this Hospital residing at Hackney to View the premises
and treat with the said Pugh and in the mean time Proceedings
at Law are to Stay And we are to be at Liberty to carry away Gravell
as we shall think fit.

Grant to Coles Fortrye

We have Agreed with Coles Fortrye< no role > to grant him a Lease of a
House (the Angel & Crown ) over against the Conduit in Cheapside
now in his Possession and held byJodrell unde a Lease which
will expire at Michas 1729. for the terme of 21. Years from the
expiration of the said present Lease at the Yearly rent of £25. Tax
free in Consideration of a Fine of £200. One hundred Pounds
whereof is to be paid on Signing the Contract by his note payable
in six months and the residue on delivery of the Lease.

Grant to Robt. Bears< no role >

We have Agreed with Robert Bears< no role > to grant him a Lease of
two Houses in the Old Baily London now held by Mary Keen< no role > Widdow
Executrix of Christopher Keen< no role > under two several Leases which will
expire at Lady day 1730. for a terme of 210 Years from the expiration
of the said present Leases at the Yearly rent of £10. Tax free In
consideration of a Fine of £140. Forty Pounds whereof to be paid on
sealing the Contract which has been paid accordingly and the
residue at Michas next.

Grant to Mary Phipps< no role >

We have Agreed with Mary Phipps< no role > to grant her a Lease of two
Houses in Fleet lane London One of them the Sign of the five Bells &
the next House adjoyning Westward and now held by her and late by
Robert Weddall< no role > under a Lease which will expire at Michas 1728. for a
terme of 21. Years from the expiration of the said present Lease at
the Yearly rent of five Pounds in Consideration of a Fine of £40.
twenty Pounds whereof to be paid on Sealing the Contract
and the remainder on delivery of the Lease and of her laying
out £70. or upwards in Substantial repairs Twenty Pounds
of which said Fine hath been accordingly paid.

Grant to John Jones< no role >

We have Agreed with JohnJones< no role > to grant him a Lease of a
House (the Elephant & Castle ) in Fleet Lane London with a
small Tenement behind the same and adjoyning thereto and
held by Penelope Morgan< no role > under a Lease which will expire at
Michas 1730. for a terme of 21. Years from the expiration of
the said present Lease at the Yearly rent of thirty Pound Tax free
in Consideration of a Fine of £21. and of putting the premisses
into substantial repair at his own Charge.
