Gentlemen

Having attended you at the Guildhall Westminster
on Wednesday last, for the purpose of making a Proposal, in order to
Prevent a Representation of my Conduct from being presented to the Lord
Chancellor, and it being Your Wish, that I should lay the same before
you more fully in Writing, I now attend you for that purpose, and
request that the Representation may not be presented to the Chancellor
and solemnly engage (if you shall think proper to comply with my
request) immediately to shut up my Office, and to retire from acting any
longer as a Magistrate for the County of Middlesex

Iam,
Gentlemen
Your most Obedient Servant.
W. Blackborow.
