Say'd that Mr Friquet had been often at the Prisons
to ask Questions

That Mr Friquet took bail once in the Prison, that it
was upon his own Commitment, That the Parties were going
to his Office and he took it there.

That Mr Friquet remanded two Persons that had been
before him as Night Charges, That Mr Blackborow ordered them
to be turned out, there was no Commitment sent with them to the
Prison and they were sent back to pay their Fees having been
discharged by the Justice and being detained for Fees, That
one was John Moore< no role > a Shoemaker and Roberts, that they
were Persons of ill Fame, and had been Indicted.

Samuel Yardley< no role > , Say'd that Mr Blackborow promised
him that for every Copy of Commitment which he saw of his Signing
sent to his Office he would give him Six pence. That Mr Blackborow
desired his Clerk to give him Six pence which he received.

Say'd he recollected two Night Charges Moore and Roberts
sent by Mr Friquet, that it was a trifling matter, that Mr Friquet
discharged them. That he took them back to the Prison and that
Mr Blackborow turned them out, did not remember seeing Mr.
Blackborow above twelve times in the Prison, that Mr Lavender
and Mr Blackborows other Clerk did come to the Prison to see
the Commitments and when in a hurry have taken them and
made Copies themselves.

Mr. Blackborow denied that he ever received any
Money to grant Licences to Victuallers, when Your Committee
adjourned and met again on the Twenty ninth of July when
the Affidavit marked (A) was laid before Your Committee and
Read. as Follows Vizt
