October 1790

Rupert Clarke< no role > Esqr one of the Justices of the Peace for this County
declared to the Court that Mr Blackborow with whom he had usually acted,
in consequence of his Declaration and Promise to the Committee positively
refused to Act as or Justice of the Peace and had totally withdrawn himself from
the Office and that he had no concern whatever in the Office or the Business
transacted there.

Whereupon, It was Moved by Mr Cotton That on Condition that
Mr Blackborow neither directly or indirectly acts in future as a Magistrate for
the County of Middlesex that the present Proceedings against him be suspended
which being Seconded was carried in the Affirmative.

By Adjournment same day

Resolved that Thomas Aris< no role > be permitted to serve the Prisoners in
the New Prison and House of Correction at Clerkenwell with Bread until the
County day of the next Session.

By Adjournment same day.

It being stated to the Court That the Pavement of the New Prison
was in bad Repair and that the Water lodged therein Ordered that Mr.
Rogers do make an Estimate of what it would amount to to Pave it with
Flagged Stones.

The following Report from the Committee appointed to examine and
audit from time to time the Account or Accounts of the Treasurer of this County
as well with respect to his Receipts as his Expenditures and also to examine and
audit all Demands of What nature or kind soever made on this County previous
to the Payment thereof being laid before the Court Vizt.

Middlesex To His Majestys Justices of the Peace for the County of
Middlesex in their General Quarter Session of the Peace holden for the said
County in the Month of October 1790 Assembled.

The Report of the Committee appointed to Examine
and Audit from time to time the Account or Accounts
of the Treasurer of this County as well with respect to
his Receipts as his Expenditures and also to examine
and audit all Demands of what nature or kind soever
made on this County previous to the payment thereof.
