February Session, 1747.

Report of the Committee.

In Obedience to the Order above written We whose hands are hereunto
Set being a Quorum of his Majesties Justices of the Peace appointed by
the Said Order have inspected and perused the Account of Mr. John Higgs< no role >
Treasurer And we do certify That by the Ballance of the preceding
County Rate and the Arrears of that Rate with the £1200 of the
present County Rate the whole amounts to the Sum of £1321.15s.3d.
And it appears to your Said Committee that the Said Treasurer has
paid and disbursed out of the Same the Sum £1252.4s.4d. And that the
Ballance remaining in his hands is £69.10s.11d. And your Committee are
of opinion that another Rate Should be made for the raising of more
Money to answer the Ends and Purposes of passing of Vagrants and to
pay the Inspectors of distempered Cattle & Clerks fees and for paying
for Bread for the Prisoners in the House of Correction at Clerkenwell
and for other Purposes, And your Committee have perused & inspected
the Account of Mr. Thomas Wilkinson< no role > of Moneys by him disbursed
concerning Publick Matters relating to this County And it appearing
to Us that the Said Mr. Wilkinson has disbursed & paid for printing
Advertisements & other Affairs the Sum of £2.12s.6d. which we are of
opinion ought to be paid to the Said Mr. Wilkinson All which we humbly
Submit, Dated this 23d. day of Febry 1747.
