Upon the humble Petition of Mr.

High Constable
within the Hundred of Spelthorne
in this County exhibited unto this
Court Setting forth That he hath Served the Said Office of High
Constable
for the Space of two years, and that he is very infirm and
greatly afflicted with the Gont, and is thereby rendered incapable
of doing his Duty, and therefore prays to be discharged from the
Said Office, This Court being Satisfied of the truth of the Premisses
Doth appoint

of the Parish of Stanes
within the
Said Hundred in this County Gent
. to be High Constable
within the
Said Hundred of Spelthorne
in the place and Stead of the Said

, And doth Order that the Said

forthwith (after notice to him given of this Order) attend one or more of his
Majesty's Justices of the Peace of this County residing or acting within
the Said Hundred of Spelthorne
and before the Said Justices or one of
them take his Oath for his due Execution of the Office of High
Constable
within the Same Hundred, And from and after the time
of his having taken Such Oath the Said

absolutely discharged from being High Constable

Hundred.

fourteenth day of January last, That in obedience to the Said Order
they have inspected and perused the Account of Mr.

And they do Certify that by the ballance of the preceding
County Rate and the Arrears of that Rate with the £1200 of the
present County Rate the whole amounts to the Sum of £1321.15s.3d.
And that it appears to the Said Committee that the Said Treasurer
hath paid and disbursed out of the Same the Sum of £1252.4s.4d
