for repairs done to
Hicks hall , and for
further repaires to be
done thereto Etc

Whereas by an Order made at the last Generall
Quarter Sessions of the Peace holden for this County
by adjornment on Friday the Seventeenth day of
January last It was referred unto William
Cotesworth Esqr . one of his Majestyes Justices
of the Peace and Generall Treasurer of this
County to employ some proper Person or Persons
to alter and Rectify the Sash Windows belonging
to the Great Dineing Room of Hicks hall in St.
John Street in this County, the Same not being
so close as the same ought to have been, And
to place the Bell in the said Room in a convenient
manner for the better Ringing of the Same, And
to lay an Account of the Expence thereof before
the Court of Sessions of the Peace for this County,
And Whereas upon information given unto this
Court at the last Generall Sessions of the Peace
holden for this County by adjornment on Thursday
the Twenty Seventh day of February now last
past by the said Mr. Cotesworth that it was
requisite that Some other small Necessary
Repaires should be done to Hicks Hall
aforesaid, It was by an Order then made
referred to the said Mr. Cotesworth to cause
such small Repaires as aforesaid to be done
by some proper Person or Persons Soe as the
Charge thereof together with the other Matters
directed by the said former Order should not
exceed the Sume of ten pounds, And to pay the
Persons employed about the same as also the
said other Matters the Moneys due to them
for the doeing thereof, And that the respective
Receipts of such Persons soe employed should
