of the said John Matthews< no role > and under Seale of
the Office of Clerk of the said Market on the
Nineteenth day of September now last and
delivered on the Same day to the said Richard
Norwood to be Executed, whereby the said
Norwood was commanded to cause Fourteen
lawfull and Sufficient men of the Towne of
Uxbridge part of the said Division in the
Said Hundred of Elthorne to appeare before
the said Thomas Robe< no role > and John Matthews< no role >
or either of them at the Chequer Inn in
Uxbridge aforesaid on the said fourth day
of October last at the hours aforesaid to hear
and due upon their severall Oaths as they
and each of them before the said Thomas
Robe and John Matthews< no role > or either of them
on his Majestyes behalfe Should be required
according to the said Patent and Laws of this
Kingdome in such Case made And It further
appeareth to this Court that the said John
Matthews hath been guilty of a very
indirect Practice in menaceing the Grand
Jury at the said last Quarter Sessions in Order
to have the said Indictment found, And that he
Stands presented by the said Grand Jury by
a Writing under their hands for Such
Misdemeanour Whereupon this Court is of
Opinion that it is proper that Application be
made to his Majesty< no role > 's Court of Kings Bench
at Westminster to grant an Information
against the said John Matthews< no role > for the said
Misdemeanour , and that a Proper
